Kota Srinivas rao was an Indian actor and politician, he worked in the Telugu Cinema Telugu Theater. He acted in languages like Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam etc. He was born on 10 July 1942
Kankipadu, Vijayawada took place in Madras Presidency. Kota Srinivas Rao ji was working as an MLA from Vijayawada East in Andhra Pradesh, India from 1999 to 2004. In 1978, his first film started with Pranam Karau. He worked in more than 750 films, he has been honored with all the nine Rajya Nandi Awards.
He was also awarded the Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian honor of the Government of India for giving his commission in Indian cinema. Kota took his final farewell on 13 July 2025 at the Film Nagar in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad after a long illness of Srinivas Rao ji.
